Friday! Happy to see you. Happy for a no-plans evening tonight, low-key Saturday, and family-filled Sunday.
On to the faves!
// I definitely have to start with the biggest favorite of the week...we had a crazy experience house hunting yesterday and may have started the offer process ;) I don't want to jinx it and talk too much about it BUT we're very excited. Hopefully more (really good) news to come!

// I did a lot of shopping this week, but I rationalize that now I'm done for spring and summer and SHOULDN'T BE BUYING ANYTHING ELSE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS (that's me yelling at myself). These purchases, with the exception of the Old Navy order I just placed, were all via recommendations from various people/blogs and so far they've been huge hits, so I'm glad I got them. Definitely new favorites.
I bit the bullet and paid full price to get the white Free People henley Andrea is always wearing. I really like it a lot and I know I'll wear it all the time, so the price was worth it. The sleeves are a little tight compared to how loose the body of the shirt is (I swear I can't get a handle on Free People's sizing), but I think with a little more wear, they'll be fine.

I ordered these pointe pants at 4:30 a.m. after reading an email from The Everygirl upon returning to bed after going to the bathroom. Classic. The rave reviews are absolutely correct. These are the best pants I own and I haven't even worn them out of the house yet! Everyone needs to go out and get a pair right now. Even more comfortable than leggings but they look like pants. They're amazing. Trust me.

I also grabbed these after seeing them in the same Everygirl email because I've been lusting after (along with everyone else on the planet) the Gucci mules I'll never be able to afford. I fully expected them to link to a pair from Nordstrom or another store with a somewhat high price tag, but when I saw they were from Target for $22.99, I couldn't add them to my cart fast enough. They came last night and are AMAZING. I haven't worn them out yet, but they were so comfortable wearing them around the house so I hope they'll be just as comfortable after a full day of wear. The quality is really nice too which is great especially for a dupe style. Can't wait to wear them forever. *if you buy, definitely listen to the reviews and size up one entire size. I was wary to do so but really glad I did.

And since Target was having a buy one, get the second pair 50% deal, I grabbed the beauties below as well. I love the color, perfect for spring, the fabric is super soft but the bottoms are sturdy, and the heel folds down so you can wear them as mules instead of loafers if you prefer. Definitely recommend these as well!

I shall report back on my Old Navy purchases when they come in ;)
// Writing "little letters" posts (idea courtesy of Naomi) are my new favorite thing to write. You can read my March little letters here, if you'd like.
// Had my first "favorite" moment during one of my training sessions this week. My trainer finally took my measurements and I was able to compare them to measurements I have from this time last year when I ordered one of my bridesmaid's dresses... and my numbers are all down from last year. I am thrilled, especially since I haven't "lost" on the scale in three weeks. I've been proud of myself for remaining decently patient with what has felt like a lack of progress lately on this journey, especially since patience isn't my strong suit ;) but I'm learning as I get older apparently and I'm grateful for that. Giving myself grace in times like this has been extremely helpful as well.
// Another favorite this week was finally getting over to Trader Joe's. Thank god I had gift cards cause I definitely overspent ha! It felt really good to get healthy options in the house. We haven't been buying a lot since our kitchen isn't fully operational because we're still renovating but I can't keep using that as an excuse to eat poorly (even though I haven't been, it's just been extra hard not to!). I always leave TJ's feeling super inspired and relieved to have options!
// As a result, I made a big batch of chili for lunches throughout the week and I packed breakfasts and snacks for the office.
// And the fruit I picked up has been amazing. I love making greek yogurt bowls with fresh fruit and Better Oats oatmeal packets. They're super filling, only 4 sp on Weight Watchers, and it feels so good to be eating berries again.
// Couch snuggling with these two boys are always a favorite.
// For Easter, I'm planning to make this lemon blueberry trifle to bring by Sammy's family...

And this coconut cream cheese pound cake to bring by mine. We'll see if that happens ;)
