shopping is my cardio

I think my love of clothes came into full bloom after becoming completely and utterly obsessed with Sex and the City. I think fashion is an art form and a beautiful act of self expression. I get wrapped up in the history and evolution of fashion, the fabrics and construct, the drama. I simply can't get enough.

Looking at me you'd probably never know I love fashion as much as I do. I tend to wear far too many elastic waists (but really, is there such a thing? elastic is just so good) to be considered fashionable or remotely put together but when I do get around to configuring an outfit that makes me feel beautiful...there are few things that make me happier. 

This scene from The Devil Wears Prada honestly gives me goosebumps every time. Like, really? I know, I'm kind of weird. But Meryl is just the best there ever was, like ever. Forever and ever.

 Here are some looks from my fall style board on pinterest (where you should totally follow me so I can follow you! Pinterest is my heaven on earth. I'm obsessed) that I wish were hanging in my closet, all with elastic waists. ;)

I need all of those things. & like 80 puffer vests. Anyone else uppppset about how much the ones from J Crew cost? I love J. Crew a lot but like...
