Au revoir!

I'm sitting on the floor of the airport here in Chicago waiting to board our flight. I've never been so happy to be sitting on a floor. I can't believe I'm waiting for a flight that will take me to Paris. I've dreamed of going there for so long it doesn't even feel like a real place! I am so blessed and I can't wait to get there.

Bye for now... I'll see you soon, Paris! You beautiful lady.

Gift Guide {Father's Day}

Hi, people! It feels so nice to be posting tonight. This past week has been so busy getting finals done early, running last minute errands, working, and packing for my trip to Paris (tomorrow!!) which I still haven't started. I thought before my trip I would post this little gift guide I put together for father's day!

Most of these gifts I've given to my own father or other men in my life for various occasions and they've always been a hit.

Father's Day Gift Guide

sporty dad // a favorite player's jersey or tickets to see his favorite team play are both great gift options for that sporty dad in your life. Last year for father's day I gave my dad an older Jackie Robinson jersey and he loved it.
foodie dad // grilling tools are always a great gift idea for the man who loves to get behind the grill. Plus we get to reap the benefits ;)
fun dad // Man Crates are an awesome idea for those easy going, fun dads who appreciate thoughtful yet no frills gifts. Since my dad is German, and very proud, I would definitely get him the Oktoberfest crate. He would love trying the beer and the mustard and sausage.
pampered dad // the dollar shave club is such a great monthly service for men to receive and indulge in a way that doesn't feel over the top. My brother gets it and loves it. It's also a great option for those of us on a budget.
new dad // you can get these pretty beer labels (and other beautiful personalized gifts) from Pinhole Press and wrap them around a six pack for the new dads you know this year who may need an early happy hour to unwind after all those sleepless nights.

I hope this served as some inspiration for you! I'd love to know what you're all planning to get the fathers in your lives. I'm always thrilled to celebrate one of the greatest men I know on this day. I'd certainly be very little without him.
